For a conversion problem, include
- The exact PrivateMP3 page you were using, such as MP4 to MP3 or MP3 cutter.
- Your browser name, operating system and whether the device is a phone, tablet or computer.
- The local file extension and, if the editor opened, the codec and channel text shown in the Audio track control.
- The approximate duration and the last status you saw: no track, 0:00, no decoder, waveform error, Convert disabled, packet-copy error or output-finalization error.
- Whether Play was available, whether the waveform reached Ready and which output format you selected.
- The exact error text. A screenshot is useful after removing file names, track titles and other private information.
These details separate a container-reading problem from a missing audio track, decoder limitation, incomplete recording or output-storage failure. They are more useful than a general message that the file did not work.
Do not send the media file
PrivateMP3 is designed so the operator never needs to receive your source. Do not attach recordings, videos, confidential file names, passwords, access links or protected media. Email cannot reproduce every device-specific decoder difference, so include the visible status and environment details instead.
Privacy, rights and corrections
For questions about analytics, advertising cookies, temporary browser storage or file processing, read the Privacy Policy and quote the section concerned. For permitted use and copyright terms, see the Terms of Use.
If a guide names a control that does not exist, describes the wrong output behavior or cites an outdated official instruction, send the page address and the sentence that needs correction. Clear, reproducible reports are the most useful way to improve the site.
