PrivateMP3 extracts audio from video files, and trims audio, entirely inside your browser. Your file is read from your own disk and is never uploaded to a server. There is no account, no queue and no size limit.

It exists because the alternatives all work the same way: upload a file, wait, and accept a cap on how large it can be. None of that is necessary any more. Browsers can decode audio at native speed and read a file in pieces, so the work can happen on the machine that already has the file.

Use it for video and audio you own or have the right to use. It reads files that are already on your device; it does not fetch media from anywhere.
